Our Mission
At Island Christian Church, we believe no one should walk through life’s hardships alone.
Our Care Ministry offers Christ-centered support— emotional, spiritual, and practical— for individuals and families.
To reflect the love, comfort, and compassion of Jesus Christ by caring for those who are hurting or in need and pointing them to Christ
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34
Psalm 34:18 — “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”
1 Peter 5:7 — “Cast all your anxiety on Him...”
Matthew 11:28 — “Come to Me...and I will give you rest.”
Prayer

The Prayer Team is committed to lifting up sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving to God, while faithfully praying for our congregation, our leaders, and the needs of our community, state, and nation. We bring every request before Him, seeking His Kingdom to move powerfully in our church. When we come to God in Jesus’ name, we trust His promise to hear and answer according to His perfect will.

DISABILITY MINISTRY

FRIENDSHIP UNLIMITED
An inclusive and loving ministry for those with disabilities.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
Our Mission
Our mission is to love and train our friends with disabilities in the truth of the Gospel and to equip them for ministry. We desire to instill sound teaching and godly competence so that they might share God’s love and power with each other, the body of Christ and the lost.
Our Goal
As missionaries to the disability community, we seek to serve these individuals and their families by sharing God’s love and encouragement in an effort to lift them out of spiritual poverty.
