Heart of Discipleship: The Word Made Known

Pastor Colby Rohde

November 9, 2025

Life is full of uncertainty, temptation, and moments when we drift or feel distant from God. Psalm 119:176 shows the psalmist confessing his wandering and seeking God’s help, reminding us that even the faithful depend on God’s pursuit. Hebrews 1:1-4 and 2:1-4 reveal that God’s Word comes alive in Jesus—the final Word who reveals God’s glory, makes salvation accessible, and calls for our full devotion.

Through Jesus, the Living Word, we are illuminated, transformed, and equipped. Even when life is confusing or overwhelming, He pursues us, corrects us, and shapes our hearts to reflect His love and truth. Following the Living Word leads to life, freedom, and intimacy with God.
