We want all children to know that God created them in a special way and that He loves them and has good plans for them. Each of our ministries communicates those values to children in an engaging, age-appropriate way. You can trust that when your kids are involved in these ministries, they are learning that faith is fun and that God’s Word is applicable to all situations in their lives.

Sunday School
In our children’s program, kids meet friends and get to know God through an exciting time of worship, Bible stories, and small group time. The 3 basic truths emphasized are: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Nursery
Nursery care is provided for all regularly scheduled services of the church (Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings), as well as most special services and seminars. It’s important for parents to know their children are well-cared for while they participate in the church service, so at Island Christian, we do everything we can to make sure that both you and your child are comfortable. Preschool
In harmony with the home, Northport Christian Preschool provides a quality educational program in an environment that nurtures Christ-like character. Children are invited to explore the world around them in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Our Long Island preschool offers small classes in a sunny, beautiful environment. We have a full academic curriculum coupled with art, music, and gymnastics. Our storytime, dramatic play, crafts, and hands-on activities allow the children to discover God’s love through His Word, the Bible. We make learning a joyful experience! Kids Club

Dedication
A Child Dedication at Island Christian is a commitment parents make to God before the congregation to live out their faith in Jesus before their children, to teach their children the Word of God, and to seek to lead them a personal relationship with God through Jesus. The congregation also commits to the Lord to being a loving community submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
