The Church Defined: Defined By God's Direction
June 29, 2025
This week, we journeyed with Paul and his missionary team through one of the most fascinating and honest seasons in their ministry. With no clear sign from heaven, no booming voice, and several closed doors, they kept moving—trusting that God would guide. We saw that divine direction isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes God leads through delays, detours, and even disappointments. His “no” can be just as loving and strategic as His “go.”
Through Paul’s story, we were reminded that guidance from God is often less about having all the answers and more about having the right posture: a heart surrendered, a spirit willing to wait, and a readiness to respond. God isn’t playing hide and seek—He’s at work in every circumstance, shaping our character and aligning us with His best.
Like navigating by three harbor lights—God’s Word, His Spirit, and His providence—when these align, clarity comes. But the real question is: will we trust Him enough to stay on the train even when it goes through a tunnel? Our calling isn’t to control the map but to follow the One who does. That journey begins with one powerful prayer: “Lord, I’m Yours—wherever, whenever, however.”
