From Death To Life: United By Divine Calling

One of the most popular summer pastimes is a trip to the ice cream parlor. But it seems like that's going out of fashion now because everyone is so health conscious! These days, there's a kale smoothie waiting to ambush you around every corner. You can't even enjoy a bag of chips without someone reminding you of the calorie count. Yoga mats have become as common as doormats, and people spend more time tracking their steps than actually walking. Meanwhile, grocery store aisles are full of organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, fair-trade, keto-friendly, sugar-free, taste-free products that leave you longing for the days when ice cream was just ice cream!

Of course, being healthy is actually very important. This Sunday, we will see how in Ephesians 4, Paul teaches us what it looks like when a church is healthy. No church wants to be unhealthy, but there are some very real issues that, if left unaddressed, can take a once-healthy culture and cause it to take a turn for the worse.
